Workshop on 5G and 6G Channel Models

Technical Background:

5G and 6G channel research are hot topics nowadays. 5G channel models have been standardized by 3GPP and ITU, however very limited scenarios were included especially in vertical industry for deployment of its internet of things (IoTs).

6G channel research has been started since last two years aiming at developing space-ground integrated radio systems, which includes lots of scenarios using microwave, millimeter wave, terahertz and even light wave communications. The target of this workshop is to attract world first class experts to exchange their recent achievements in 5G and 6G channel research, especially in some new research orientations, i.e. channel models developed by machine learning using big channel data, time-varying channel modeling methodologies, newly developed channel sounding systems, measurements and models for 6G space-ground communications and so on.

TOPICS OF INTEREST – (contributions are not limited to the following):

Progress of 5G and 6G channel research

5G and 6G channel measurements, modeling and simulation

Modeling and simulation based on 5G and 6G channel big data

5G and 6G time-varying channel modeling
